Territorial Resilience in the Face of Crises

From March 25 to 28, 2026, at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies (ISET) in Djerba, Tunisia.

This 6th edition, which will take place from March 25 to 28, 2026, in Djerba, Tunisia, is expected to bring together 350 international participants: representatives of civil society, researchers, scientists, NGOs, associations, private and/or public institutions, and local authorities.

Over three days, participants will take part in and attend plenary sessions, thematic workshops, group work, and dedicated moments for exchange and dialogue.

The objective of these three days of work is to co-construct an advocacy framework based on concrete and relevant solutions, in order to influence decisions at COP17.

The topics to be addressed will be as follows:

  1. Transformation of sedentary agricultural and/or livestock systems
  2. Support for mobile production systems (with a focus on pastoralism)
  3. Territorial management of water resources
  4. Territorial governance

Desertif’actions 2026 is co-organized by CARI, UNCCD, and OSS, in partnership with ACDD and WWF North Africa.
